    Bioinspired Materials for Stem Cell Bioengineering and Regenerative Medicine

    The mission of Murphy’s research program is to develop and implement novel strategies for design, synthesis, and implementation of biomaterials. The particular focus is on developing materials that mimic the functional properties of natural materials, which we refer to as “Bioinspired Materials”. The program is now moving towards using these new biomaterials to address clinical and scientific challenges, particularly in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine.
