TEXAS SCOTTISH RITE HOSPITAL, TEXAS, USA
Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is the most common pediatric spinal deformity, simply defined as a lateral curvature of spine, affecting ~3% of school age children worldwide during their growth spurt. I am working on a NIH sponsored project with Dr. Carol Wise at Texas Scottish rite Hospital, Dallas, Texas, USA. This project is an endeavor to explore Genome wide susceptibility factors for Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis, using Illumina 370CNV quad SNP microarray chips and family/case control based study design.
