I examine (1) social modulation of steroid hormones via intimacy-related social behavioral contexts (e.g. partnering, sexuality, and nurturance), and also (2) bidirectional associations between social behavioral contexts and steroid hormones (e.g. links between sexual desire and testosterone). I attend to gender/sex, diverse groups, and evolution within my research, and am developing inclusive and feminist science research methods.
