Genomic scale proteomic studies show that most proteins form complexes. However the rate of solving co-crystallized protein complex structures is slow and there is an ever widening gap in the sequence and structure space. Though protein structure modeling has made great progress in recent years, solving protein complex structures from sequence alone has remained relatively unexplored and protein complex structure modeling has remained restricted to rigid body docking which however is severely limited in scope. According my research focus is to build an algorithm capable of generating a protein complex structure given only its amino acid sequence by using the I-TASSER methodology
