    Protein design for novel functions

    My research involves re-engineering of proteins for stability and de novo interface design on a scaffold protein for specific binding. I design computational models using Rosetta protein modeling software and then test them in the lab. Biophysical characterization of the models involve binding experiments, circular dichroism, NMR and crystallization.
