Research mainly involves studying users interacting with technology gives us a unique perspective on designing more robust systems. The systems that we create & study are in the areas of Mobile Phones, Cloud Computing, and Educational Games to support teaching in STEM areas and programming. My main area of focus is on Educational Gaming with Culturally Situated Design Tools. Within this area it explores the minority and underprivileged students in schools and helps them to gain a better understanding of the STEM fields. This allows them to be more familiar with these areas and opens them up to opportunities in the future (college and high school).
