Biology of actinomycetes

The research in our laboratory is concerned with various aspects of actinomycete biology, currently we have several avenues of research

* Developmental biology of Streptomyces
* Evolution of conserved gene clusters throughout the actinomycetes and comparative genomics
* Mathematical modelling of Streptomyces growth
* Emerging actinomycete pathogens
* Bacteriophage resistance in Streptomyces
