  • Research:
I study the development of topographic maps in visual brain areas.

My focus is on the development of maps in the retino-collicular and the retino-geniculo-cortical pathways. I use not only anatomical tracers but also electrophysiology and optical intrinsic signal imaging to study the functional effects of perturbing anatomy. Right now I am investigating the effects of Ephs/ephrins and early cortical activity.
