  • Research:
screening of cyanobacterial for novel, therapeutic, drug.

cyanobacteria from specific habitat was selected for screening of bioactive secondary metabolites. Secondary metabolites are extracted in specific cell stage and in specific organic solvent. The extracted crude cyanobacterial extract was bioassayed against bacteria, fungi and protozoans. crude extract was purified through Thin layer chromatography and HPLC. The purified band were bioassayed and its structure was deduced through NMR, IR and Mass Spectrometry.
