    1) How viruses are handled within draining lymph nodes upon peripheral inoculation and how antiviral immune responses are generated
    2) Dissecting the cellular and molecular mechanism underlying T cell mediated immunopathology in the liver in the context of chronic viral hepatitis

Platelets facilitate the accumulation of CTLs in the infected liver. Inflammation-induced changes of the vessel wall may promote platelet adhesion and activation, which in turn favor the exit of virus-specific CTLs from the bloodstream and their accumulat
