I am interested in non-invasive and implantable medical devices to restore and augment function for people with neurological disease and injury. Just as cochlear implants can restore hearing to many people with sensorineural hearing loss, so too a new generation of neuroprosthetic devices could restore movement, communication, executive planning, and memory to stricken adults and children.
