The current PhD research work is mainly focused on structural determination and a detailed functional characterisation of metalloprotein EfeO in EfeUOB sytem for the bacterial iron transport by means of X-ray crsytallography and biochemical methods. The bioinformatics skills coupled with various molecular biology techniques act as a strong support for me to provide frontline evidence to the importance of this metalloprotein to a greater extent. My further research career will be completely dedicated to adddress the challenge of studying the biological role of various novel proteins, their therapeutic values by using most advanced technologies to contribute valuable information to the scientific community.
