My research efforts focus on understanding the mechanisms underlying how mammalian cells regulate their growth and how aberrant regulation leads to Cancer. My research utilizes computational methods rooted in statistical physics, information theory, nonlinear dynamics, and multivariate statistics in conjunction with biochemistry, cell biology, and high throughput 'omics' technologies. For example, we've used metabolomics to probe the metabolic states of cancer cells.
