    Model-based epistemologies of science: How modeling supports epistemic authenticity in science education.

    An ethnographically based study of undergraduates working collaboratively to solve biological modeling problems. Explored the ways in which a model-based inquiry context supported student development of more sophisticated epistemologies of science through a qualitative analysis of their discourse, activity and written work.
