    My previous training in grad school focused on the role of DNA repair proteins and cell cycle checkpoints in orchestrating a DNA damage response in Drosophila Melanogastor. My post-doctoral work is focusing on the mechanisms of homologous and homeologous recombination in mammalian systems.
