  • Research:
    Comparative and functional evolutionary genomics

I'm interested in everything evolutionary, from comparative genomics to phylogenetics to molecular evolution to the evolution of gene expression. I'm especially interested in developing and applying novel quantitative theory and high-throughput experimentation to these areas that appropriately address the issue of the lack of characterization of statistical power that often leads to inappropriate interpretation in favor of null or alternate hypotheses.
