My work focuses on the nutritional ecology of wildlife and exotics, using captive-animal studies as a tool for modeling the digestive physiology of free-ranging animals, nutrient and resource utilization, and plant-animal interactions. I aim to generate information that may be used to improve conservation decisions and land-management practices, and to better manage captive populations.
