  • Research:
Developing genetic experimental tools and artificial tissue engineering technologies for analyzing and human complex traits and phenotypes.

I am developing open and scalable methods for collecting, reprogramming and manipulating a large population of human cohorts for functional studies. Ultra-affordable methods for deriving cell lines from humans, deriving induced pluripotent stem cells and sequencing both DNA and RNA transcriptome using deep sequencing technologies should enable accelerate discoveries in human genetics. In addition, I am using synthetic biology approaches to engineer human embryonic stem cells that can be integrated with microfluidic and electronic circuits devices as an alternative to raw tissue engineering.
