I currently study theoretical neuroscience. I am broadly interested in how the brain computes and mostly focus on motion detection in flies, hippocampal dependent learning in mice, and theoretical problems in optical imaging. These subjects continually promote a growing interest in the structural basis of neural computation. As an undergraduate I studied protein structure and dynamics.
