    I have worked on Latino immigrants to the US, and currently I am working on the use of media and technology in the class rooms in rural areas of Colombia.

    During the last 4 years I have been working on Mexican Immigrants in Kansas, approaching their adjustment to the receiving environment, as a process of acquisition of cultural capital, using Pierre Bourdieu's theoretical framework.
