    Evolutionary conservation and constraint of regulatory elements

    My focus is on the comparative genomics of humans with other mammalian species. I have developed several methods to analyze sequence alignments of potential regulatory enhancers and promoters, measuring the phylogenetic conservation at regional and motif levels, and using inferences of constraint as a prediction of function.
