    Non-genetic mechanism(s) by which ploidy alters gene expression.

    Ploidy-associated changes in gene expression have been observed in multiple organisms. The underlying mechanism is poorly understood. Using the budding yeast as a model system, I am characterizing two signaling cascades in cells with identical genome sequence but different ploidies.
