I have assisted in a number of projects, including research on Macrochelys temminckii and Glyptemys muhlenbergii in Tennessee. It is my goal to focus more on tropical herpetology and to find a research opportunity in such a field.
2007-present Assist graduate researchers and principle investigators with field and laboratory activities and help with management of the David H. Snyder Museum of Zoology
2006-2007 Research Technician for the Knoxville Zoological Gardens studying Glyptemys muhlenbergii in East Tennessee
2006-2007 Conducted my own research on Apalone spinifera in Steele Creek Park in Bristol, Tennessee while still in highschool. I created a detailed report and presented the research at a number of meetings in the state.
2005-2007 Park Naturalist for Steele Creek Park in Bristol, Tennessee
2006 Ten-day trip to the Upper Peruvian Amazon conducted by Smithsonian Journeys and Jungle Expeditions.
