Pathology
Massachussetts General Hospital
I have spent most of my post-undergraduate life investigating cancer on a molecular level. I will be undertaking a neuropathology fellowship until 2012, after which I will be pursuing a post-doctoral felowship somewhere in Boston. I am most interested in studying glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), especially in the role (and possible interplay) of mutant p53 and EGFR in the development, maintenance, and chemo/radioresistance in this most lethal of CNS tumors. I intend on utilizing known mouse models (and even designing some models of my own) as tools of discovery.
