There are many facets to my research. I work primarily in ethnobotany but stray into plant ecology research. I am interested in assessing how domesticated crops become genetically isolated through time as well as the impact of domestication on the human genome. I further conduct palynological analyses to infer pollen morphology for various domesticated flora.
