  • Research:
    2D laminar separation bubbles

The research consists of experimental investigations on 2D laminar separation bubbles on a flat plate due an imposed adverse pressure gradient. The experiments are carried out in the laminar water tunnel of the Hydrodynamic Laboratory. The primary tools are a S-PIV system and dye visualization. The results will be compared to ongoing DNS simulations of our CFD lab.
