    Machine Learning, Data Mining, Mathematical Modeling for Bioinformatics and Biodiversity Informatics

    I am interested in literature mining to discover whether two entities such as (two proteins) or (a gene and a disease) are co-related using Machine Learning techniques. I am also interested in analyzing genes, proteins and DNA sequences using mathematical models such as Hidden Markov Models and its variations. My research will be in the context of infectious disease and cancer biology.
